अब रहिहौं ब्रजभूमि की, ह्वै पगमारग धूरि।
विचरत पद मोपै परै, सब सुख जीवन मूरि॥

Hindi Meaning
ब्रह्मज्ञानी उद्धव कहते हैं—“हे प्रभु! अब मैं सदा के लिए ब्रज में ही ब्रज की रज बनकर वास करना चाहता हूँ, ताकि जब यह प्रेम की ध्वजा स्वरूप ब्रजांगनाएँ विचरण करें, तो उनके चरणों की धूल मुझ पर पड़े और मैं कृतार्थ हो जाऊँ।
यही मेरे जीवन का परम आधार है।
”
Hinglish Transliteration (रोमन पाठ)
ab rahihaun brajabhumi ki, hvai pagamarag dhuri.
vicharat pad mopai parai, sab sukh jivan muri..

Transliteration
Ab Rahihaun Brajbhoomi Ki, Hvai Pagmarag Dhuri.
Vicharat Pad Mopai Parai, Sab Sukh Jeevan Muri.

The self-realized Uddhava says—“O Lord! My only wish now is to forever reside in Braj, becoming one with the dust of this sacred land, so that when the maidens of Braj, the pinnacle of divine love, wander through these sacred paths, may the dust of their feet fall upon me. In that moment, I shall feel truly fulfilled. This alone is the supreme purpose of my life.”
English Translation
