ब्रज की तोय लाज मुकुट वारे।
चंदा-सूरज तेरौ ध्यान धरत हैं, ध्यान धरत नौलख तारे॥ [1]
इन्द्र नें कोप कियौ ब्रज ऊपर, तब गिरिवर कर पर धारे।
'पुरुषोत्तम' प्रभु की छवि निरखत, गाय-गोप के रखवारे॥ [2]

Hindi Meaning

हे गोवर्धनधारी श्रीकृष्ण! ब्रज की लाज और प्रतिष्ठा तुम्हारे ही करकमलों में है।
चंद्रमा और सूर्य भी तुम्हारे ही ध्यान में निमग्न रहते हैं, और आकाश के नौ लाख तारे भी निरंतर तुम्हारे ही सौंदर्य को निहारते हैं। [1]
जब इन्द्र ने क्रोधित होकर ब्रज में भारी वर्षा की, तब तुमने गिरिराज को करकमलों पर धारण कर ब्रजवासियों की रक्षा की।
श्री पुरुषोत्तम श्रीकृष्ण, जो गायों और गोपों के रक्षक हैं, उनकी छवि को सभी सदा निहारते रहते हैं। [2]

Transliteration

Braj Ki Toy Laaj Mukut Vare. Chanda-Suraj Tero Dhyan Dharat Hain, Dhyan Dharat Naulakh Tare. [1] Indra Ne Kop Kiyau Braj Upar, Tab Girivar Kar Par Dhare. ‘Purushottam’ Prabhu Ki Chhavi Nirakhat, Gai-Gop Ke Rakhvare. [2] - Sri Purushottam Ji O Sri Krishna! The honor and protection of Braj rest in Your hands. Even the moon and the sun meditate upon You, and the countless stars gaze endlessly at Your divine form. [1] When Indra, the king of heaven, in anger unleashed torrential rains upon Braj, You effortlessly lifted Govardhana Hill upon Your lotus hand and sheltered all the residents of Braj. Śrī Puruṣottama Jī forever beholds the divine form of that Lord Kṛṣṇa who is the protector of cows and cowherds, and the eternal guardian of Braj. [2]
