चलो लाल खेलें वसन्त मिलि श्रीयमुना के कूल।
नव निकुंज वन नई ऋतु आई नये नये फूले फूल॥ [1]
द्रुम डारिन बैठे नव पक्षी बोलत अति अनुकूल।
‘नारायण’ उत नई बहार सुख, इतमें तुम सुख मूल॥ [2]

Hindi Meaning
किशोरीजी (श्री राधा) लालजी (श्री कृष्ण) से कहती हैं —
हे लाल (प्रियतम)! आओ, हम श्री यमुना के तट पर मिलकर वसंत खेलें।
वन के निकुंजों में नई ऋतु आई है और नये-नये फूल खिल उठे हैं। [1]
वृक्षों की डालियों पर नये पक्षी बैठे मधुर और अनुकूल स्वर में गा रहे हैं।
श्री नारायण स्वामी कहते हैं—उधर तो नई बहार का सुख है, पर यहाँ उस सुख का मूल कारण तुम ही हो। [2]

(rag vasant dhimatala) chalo lal khelen vasant mili shriyamuna ke kul.
nav nikunj van nai ritu ai naye naye fule ful.. [1]
drum darin baithe nav pakshi bolat ati anukul.
‘narayana’ ut nai bahar sukh, itamen tum sukh mul.. [2]

‘Narayan’ Ut Nai Bahar Sukh, Itmen Tum Sukh Mula. [2]

Kiśorī Jī (Śrī Rādhā) says to Lāl Jī (Śrī Kṛṣṇa): O Beloved! Come, let us go and play vasanta (spring) season plays together on the banks of Śrī Yamunā. In the forest bowers, the new season has arrived, and fresh flowers have blossomed everywhere. [1]
On the branches of the trees, new birds sit and sing in sweet and pleasing tones. Śrī Nārāyaṇ Swāmī says—there, the joy of the new spring thrives, but here, You are the very source of all joy. [2]
