(राग-गौड़ सारंग, ताल-झूमरा)
छबीले नील घन की पूतरी क्रीड़त बृंदाबन माँहीं।
बिबिध भूषन धरें बंसी अधर धरि चलत देखत परछाँहीं॥ [1]
सबके हिय करषत, सोभा-बूँदन बरषत,
गोपीजन-लोचन-चातक निरखत जिवाहीं। [2]
नंददास कोऊ एक दामिनि-सी ढिंग
ठाड़ी ताके गरें बर दियें बाँहीं॥ [3]

Hindi Meaning

हे सखी! नील मेघ सदृश कोई छबीली रूप-मूर्ति (श्री कृष्ण) इस वृन्दावन में क्रीड़ा कर रही है।
उनके अंग-अंग पर विविध आभूषण सुशोभित हैं, अधरों पर मधुर बंसी विराजमान है, और उनकी परछाईं तक की शोभा भी मन को मोहित कर लेती है। [1]
उनकी अलौकिक शोभा सहज ही सबके हृदय को अपनी ओर आकर्षित कर लेती है।
गोपियाँ चातक-पक्षी के समान उत्कंठित नयनों से उनके रूप का निरन्तर पान करती हैं और उसी दर्शन को अपना जीवन-प्राण मानती हैं। [2]
श्री नंददास कहते हैं कि जिस प्रकार मेघ के संग विद्युत् लिपटी रहती है, उसी प्रकार उनकी कोई परम प्रिय गोपी (श्री राधा), स्नेह से बाँहें डाले, उनके समीप आलिंगनबद्ध खड़ी हैं। [3]

(raga-gauda sarng, tala-jhumara) chhabile nil ghan ki putari kridat brindaban manhin.
bibidh bhushan dharen bnsi adhar dhari chalat dekhat parachhanhin.. [1]
sabake hiy karashat, sobha-bundan barashat, gopijana-lochana-chatak nirakhat jivahin. [2]
nndadas kuo ek damini-si dhing thadai take garen bar diyen banhin.. [3]

Transliteration

(Raga Gaud Sarang, Taal Jhumra) Chhabile Neel Ghan Ki Putari Kreedat Brindaban Maahin. Bibidh Bhooshan Dharen Bansi Adhar Dhari Chalat Dekhat Parchhaahin. [1] Sabke Hiy Karshat, Sobha Boondan Barshat, Gopijan Lochan Chaatak Nirakhat Jivaahin. [2] ‘Nanddas’ Kou Ek Daamini Si Dhing, Thaadi Taake Garen Bar Diye Baahin. [3] - Shri Nanddas, Nanddas Granthwali O friend! A graceful, dark cloud–like form of Śrī Kṛṣṇa delights in loving play within this Vṛndāvana. Every limb is adorned with splendid ornaments, the sweet flute rests upon His lips, and even the charm of His very shadow enchants the heart. [1] His splendor effortlessly draws all beings toward Him. The gopīs, like cātaka birds, ceaselessly drink the nectar of His moonlike form with thirsty eyes, seeing His darśana alone as the sole sustenance of their lives. [2] Śrī Nanddās says that just as lightning clings to the rain cloud, so His supremely beloved gopī, Śrī Rādhā, stands beside Him, arms entwined in divine love, in a tender embrace. [3]
