खेलत हैं वसंत विहारी विहारिन।
अबीर गुलाल घुमड़ रस अम्बुद, झर लायौ मनु रँग पिचकारिन॥ [1]
मधुर गरज बाजेनु धुनि मनु पिक, मोर कुहुक हो-हो किलकारिन।
(जय) श्रीहितलाल प्रेम उर भीजन, हँसत हँसावत दै करतारिन॥ [2]

Hindi Meaning

युगल सरकार, श्री विहारी-विहारिन, आज वसंत उत्सव माना रहे हैं।
अबीर और गुलाल के रस-मेघ उमड़ रहे हैं, मानो रंगों की पिचकारी से प्रेम-रंग बरस रहा हो। [1]
मधुर गर्जना-सी वाद्यों की ध्वनि है, कोयल और मोर की कुहुक और “हो हो होरी है” किलकारियाँ गूँज रही हैं।
श्रीहितलाल कहते हैं — वे प्रेम से हृदयों को भिगोते हुए, स्वयं हँसते और सबको हँसाते हुए यह लीला कर रहे हैं। [2]

Khelat Hain Vasant Vihari Viharin. Abeer Gulaal Ghumad Ras Ambud, Jhar Laayau Manu Rang Pichkarin. [1] Madhur Garaj Baajenu Dhuni Manu Pik, Mor Kuhuk Ho-Ho Kilkarin. Jai Shri Hitlal Prem Ur Bheejan, Hansat Hansavat Dai Kartarin. [2] - Goswami Shri Hitalal Ji The Divine Couple, Śrī Vihārī–Vihārin, are celebrating the festival of spring today. Clouds of abīra and gulāla surge like showers of color, as if syringes of hues are raining down the very colors of love. [1] Sweet music resounds—the cuckoo’s song, the peacock’s call, and bursts of laughter with sounds “Ho Ho Hori Hai” fill the atmosphere. Śrī Hitlāl says—they soak hearts in love, laughing and making others laugh as they perform this divine play. [2]
