लग्यौ नेह सब भाँति निभैहौ।

ये मेरे मन सुदृढ़ भरोसौ, बाँह गहे की लाज लजैहौ॥ [1]

लोक वेद परलोक जाति कुल, पाप पुण्य दुख द्वन्द छुड़ैहौ।

'भोरी' आपनि जानि कृपा करि, श्री पद पंकज सुबस बसैहौ॥ [2]

Hindi Meaning

हे प्यारी जू! आपसे मेरा जो यह प्रेम-संबंध जुड़ गया है, मुझे पूर्ण विश्वास है कि आप इसे हर प्रकार से निभाएँगी।

मेरे मन में यह दृढ़ भरोसा है कि आप अपने सहज स्वभाव के अनुसार जिसका हाथ पकड़ लेती हैं, उसे पूर्णतः अपना बना लेती हैं; अर्थात् आप अपने शरणागत की लाज अवश्य रखेंगी। [1]

श्री भोरी सखी कहती हैं कि ऐसी कृपा करें कि इस लोक की मर्यादा, वेदों के बंधन, परलोक की चिंता, जाति-कुल के अभिमान तथा पाप-पुण्य के द्वन्द्वों से मुक्त करके सदा के लिए अपने श्रीचरण-कमलों के आश्रय में ही वास दें। [2]

Transliteration

Lagyo Neh Sab Bhanti Nibhaiho. Ye Mere Man Sudridh Bharoso, Baanh Gahe Ki Laaj Lajaeho. [1] Lok Ved Parlok Jati Kul, Paap Punya Dukh Dvand Chhudeho. ‘Bhori’ Apni Jani Kripa Kari, Shri Pad Pankaj Subas Basaiho. [2] - Shri Bhori Sakhi, Prem Ki Peer (415) O dearest Pyārī Jū (Śrī Rādhā), now that the sacred knot of love has been tied between us, I trust completely that You will sustain it. I know that by Your merciful nature, anyone whose hand You accept becomes Yours forever. Surely You will preserve the honor of one who has surrendered at Your feet. [1] Śrī Bhorī Sakhī humbly prays: bestow such grace that, freeing me from the constraints of worldly decorum, the bindings of the Vedas, fear of the next world, pride of family and status, and the dualities of sin and virtue, I may dwell eternally at the refuge of Your lotus feet. [2]
