प्यारो प्यारी झूले क़दम की डारियां।
घनजु गरजे दामिनी दमके, चहूं दिश गोप कुमारियां॥ [1]
ग़ौर श्याम मुखचंद परस्पर, रहत निहार निहारियां।
‘पुरुषोतम’ प्रभुकी छबि निरखत, छबि पर बलहारियां॥ [2]

Hindi Meaning

पिय-प्यारी (श्री राधा-कृष्ण) कदंब वृक्ष की डालियों पर एक संग झूला झूल रहे हैं।
आकाश में बादल गरज रहे हैं, बिजली चमक रही है, और चारों ओर गोपियाँ हर्षित हो उठी हैं। [1]
गौरवर्ण और श्यामवर्ण प्रिय युगल एक-दूसरे के मुखचंद्र को प्रेमभरी दृष्टि से निरंतर निहार रहे हैं।
गोपियाँ उस अनुपम सौंदर्य पर इतनी मोहित हैं कि बार-बार अपने प्राणों को प्रिया-प्रियतम की सुंदर छवि पर अर्पित कर रही हैं। [2]

pyaro pyari jhule qadam ki dariyan.
ghanaju garaje damini damake, chahun dish gop kumariyan.. [1]
ghaur shyam mukhachnd paraspar, rahat nihar nihariyan.
‘purushotama’ prabhuki chhabi nirakhat, chhabi par balahariyan.. [2]

Pyaro Pyari Jhoole Kadam Ki Dariyan. Ghanaj Garaje Damini Damke, Chahoon Dish Gop Kumariyan. [1] Gaur Shyam Mukhchand Paraspaar, Rahat Nihar Nihariyan. ‘Purushottam’ Prabhuki Chhabi Nirakhat, Chhabi Par Balhaariyan. [2] - Sri Purushottam Ji Both beloveds, Sri Radha Krishna, swing together on the branches of the Kadamba trees. Thunder roars, lightning flashes in the sky, and all around, the young gopis gather in joy. [1] The fair and dark faces of the divine couple gaze at each other lovingly. The gopis, enchanted by their supreme beauty, offer themselves again and again upon that divine vision. [2]
