संत जन बारह मास बसंत।
पिउ पिउ कहि कहि छिन छिन निशिदिन, कूकत कोकिल संत॥ [1]
कबहुँक झरत दृगन अँसुवन जनु, झर तरु – पत्र अनंत।
कबहुँक झूमि झूमि मधुकर जनु, गुनगुनात गुन कंत॥ [2]
कबहुँ प्रमत फूल सरसोँ जनु, फूलि फूलि हरषंत।
प्रेम बसंत ‘कृपालु’ नित्य रह, रस सरसंत न अंत॥ [3]

Hindi Meaning
संत महात्माओं के पास बारहों महीने बसन्त का निवास रहता है।
संत लोग बसन्तकालीन कोयल की कूक के समान अत्यन्त प्रेम भरी ध्वनि में निरन्तर ‘पिउ’ ‘पिउ’ ऐसा कहा करते हैं। [1]
संत लोग बसन्तकालीन पतझड़ के समान आँखों से निरन्तर प्रेमाश्रु गिराते रहते हैं।
संत लोग बसन्तकालीन भौरों के समान गुनगुनाते हुए झूम – झूम कर श्यामा श्याम के गुण गाते रहते हैं। [2]
संत लोग बसन्तकालीन फूली हुई सरसों के समान प्रियतम के प्रेम में प्रमत होकर आनन्दातिरेक से हृदय में फूले नहीं समाते।
श्री कृपालु जी कहते हैं बसन्त काल तो दो महीने का ही होता है, किन्तु संतों का प्रेम बसन्त तो नित्य रहता है, एवं प्रतिक्षण – वर्द्धमान रस अनन्तकाल तक प्रदान करता है। [3]

For saints, the season of spring lasts throughout all twelve months. They continuously chant Piu Piu (“Beloved! Beloved!”) in a voice overflowing with love, much like the warbling of a cuckoo in the springtime. [1]
Just as leaves fall from trees in spring, saints ceaselessly shed tears of love from their eyes. Like the humming of bees in spring, they sing the divine attributes of Shyama Shyam, swaying in the intoxication of love. [2]
Much like mustard plants in full bloom during spring, saints become completely immersed in divine ecstasy, their hearts overflowing with the love of their beloved. Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji says that while the earthly spring season lasts only two months, the saints’ spring season of love remains forever. It always keeps them submerged in the boundless ocean of divine bliss. [3]
