वृषभानु कुँवरि खेलति बसंत, फूली सखी जहाँ नवल कंत।
ताल मृदँग बाजै अरु निसान, खेलन निकसीं सुखनिधान॥ [1]
चोबा कुंकुम मची है कीच, मृगमद सखि जवादि बीच।
सघन कुंज में सुख-तरंग, ‘कृष्णदास’ आली राधे रवन-संग॥ [2]

Hindi Meaning
वृषभानु की लाड़ली श्री राधा बसंत ऋतु में क्रीड़ा कर रही हैं, जहाँ उनके नवल प्रियतम श्यामसुन्दर भी विराजमान हैं।
सखियाँ हर्ष से खिल उठी हैं।
मृदंग, ताल और नगाड़े आदि वाद्य बज रहे हैं, और सुख की खान श्री राधा महारानी क्रीड़ा के लिए महल से बाहर पधारी हैं। [1]
चोबा और कुमकुम से रज कीचड़-सी हो गई है, सखियाँ कस्तूरी और जवादि सुगंध के बीच रमी हुई हैं।
घने कुंजों में सुख की तरंगें उठ रही हैं।
श्री कृष्णदास कहते हैं—सखियों सहित श्री राधा, श्री कृष्ण के संग बसंत-केलि का आनंद ले रही हैं। [2]

Śrī Vṛṣabhānu’s charming daughter, Śrī Rādhā, is engaged in the plays of the spring season, where Her ever-new beloved Śyāmasundara is also present. The sakhīs have blossomed with joy. The sounds of drums, cymbals, and kettledrums resonate through the air, while Śrī Rādhā Mahārānī, the very mine of bliss, has stepped out from her palace to engage in the festivities. [1]
Colored powders and fragrant paste of saffron powder and vermilion powder have transformed sand into crimson mud, while the sakhīs revel amidst the fragrance of musk and fine perfumes. In the dense bowers, waves of nectar arise. Śrī Kṛṣṇadāsa says that, together with her lovely companions, Śrī Rādhā is relishing the spring līlā in the company of Śrī Kṛṣṇa. [2]
