अबतो वसी हृदै मो माहिं व्रजरज नेह लगैये।
नाते नेह लोकके जेते ते मंझधार वहैये॥ [1]
अहो किशोरी कहौं निहोरी मोहूतन चित लैये।
ललितमाधुरी येही चाहत जुगुलचरण दरसैये॥ [2]

अब मेरे हृदय में केवल ब्रज की रज बसी है, अब तो मुझे उसी रज से ही नेह बढ़ाना है।
जितने भी सांसारिक रिश्ते-नाते हैं, उन्हें अब मंझधार में बहा देना चाहिए। [1]
अहो किशोरीजी! मैं करुण क्रंदन के साथ आपसे याचना करता हूँ कि कृपा कर अपनी करुणा भरी दृष्टि मेरी ओर डालिए।
श्री ललित माधुरी की यही एकमात्र अभिलाषा है— कि वह युगल चरणों का दर्शन प्राप्त करे। [2]

Lalitmadhuri Yehi Chahat Jugul Charan Darasaiye.

Now, the dust of Vraja (Vraj-raja) has made its eternal abode in my heart; my love is bound only to it. All worldly relationships and ties should now be cast away into the midstream. [1]
O Kishoriji! I humbly beg for your merciful, sidelong glance. The only heartfelt yearning of Shri Lalit Madhuri is to attain the divine vision of the lotus feet of the divine couple (Sri Radha Krishna). [2]
