ऐसे नहीं हम चाहन हार, जो आज तुम्हें कल और को चाहैं।
फ़ेंक दें आँखें निकारि दोऊ, यदि दूसरी ओर करैं ये निगाहें॥ [1]
लाख मिलैं तुमते बढ़ के, तुम्हीं को चहैं तुमहीं को सराहैं।
जौंलौं यह जीव रहे तन में, तौलौं हम नेह को नाता निबाहैं॥ [2]

हे श्री राधा-कृष्ण! हम ऐसे प्रेमी नहीं जो आज तुम्हें चाहें और कल किसी और को चाहने लगें।
यदि हमारी ये आँखें तुम्हें छोड़कर किसी और की ओर देखें तो हम उन्हें निकालकर फेंक देंगे। [1]
चाहे तुमसे बढ़कर लाख मिलें, फिर भी हम केवल तुम्हीं को चाहेंगे और तुम्हीं के गुण गायेंगे।
जब तक इस देह में प्राण है, तब तक हम इसी प्रेम-बंधन को निभाते रहेंगे। [2]

(savaiya) aise nahin ham chahan har, jo aj tumhen kal aur ko chahain.
फ़enk den ankhen nikari duo, yadi dusari or karain ye nigahen.. [1]
lakh milain tumate baढ़ ke, tumhin ko chahain tumahin ko sarahain.
jaunlaun yah jiv rahe tan men, taulaun ham neh ko nata nibahain.. [2]

Phenk Den Aankhen Nikari Dou, Yadi Doosri Or Karen Ye Nigahein. [1]
Laakh Milain Tumte Badh Ke, Tumhin Ko Chahain Tumhin Ko Sarahain.
Jaunlaun Yah Jeev Rahe Tan Mein, Tau Laun Hum Neh Ko Naata Nibahain. [2]
- Braj Ke Sawaiya
O Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa! We are not the kind of lovers who love You today and turn to another tomorrow. If these eyes ever look away from You to another, we would rather pluck them out and cast them aside. [1]
Even if a million better than You appeared, we would love only You and sing only Your praise. As long as life remains in this body, we shall faithfully uphold this bond of divine love with You alone. [2]
