जागत में सुमिरन करै, सोवत में लौ लाय।
सहजो इकरस ही रहै, तार टूटि नहिं जाय॥

Hindi Meaning
जागृत अवस्था में निरंतर प्रभु का स्मरण बना रहे और निद्रा के समय भी उन्हीं की लौ (चिंतन) लगी रहे।
सहजो बाई जी कहती हैं कि इस प्रकार भक्ति सदैव बनी रहनी चाहिए, एक क्षण को भी खंडित नहीं होनी चाहिए अर्थात् वह प्रेम का तार कभी किसी परिस्थिति में टूटना नहीं चाहिए।

jagat men sumiran karai, sovat men lau lay.
sahajo ikaras hi rahai, tar tuti nahin jay..

Transliteration
Jagat Mem Sumiran Karai, Sovat Mem Lau Lay,
Sahajo Ikaras Hi Rahai, Tar Tuti Nahim Jay.
- Shri Sahjobai
While awake, one should remain constantly absorbed in remembrance of the Lord, and even in sleep, the mind should remain fixed upon the Lord. Sahajobāī Jī says that devotion should continue in this way without interruption, not even for a single moment — the bond of divine love must never break under any circumstances.
English Translation
Jagat Mem Sumiran Karai, Sovat Mem Lau Lay,
Sahajo Ikaras Hi Rahai, Tar Tuti Nahim Jay.
