जैसैं सुखहीं तन बढ़यौ, तैसैं तनहिं अनंग।
धूम बढ्यौ, लोचन खस्यौ, सखा न सूझ्यौ संग॥

Hindi Meaning
जैसे-जैसे सुखपूर्वक शरीर पुष्ट होता गया, वैसे-वैसे उसमें काम की वृद्धि होती गई।
जिसके परिणाम स्वरूप अज्ञानता रूपी धुआँ इतना बढ़ गया कि विचाररूपी दृष्टि-शक्ति नष्ट हो गयी, जिससे तुझे तेरे सदा साथ रहने वाला सच्चा मित्र (प्रभु) दिखाई नहीं पड़ा।
