जोग जज्ञ तप नेम करि, भजै नहीं गोविन्द।
‘छौना’ हरि के नाम बिन, छूटे नहीं भव फन्द॥

Hindi Meaning
भले ही कोई योग, यज्ञ, तपस्या अथवा कठोर व्रतों का पालन करता रहे, परंतु यदि उसने श्री गोविंद का डट कर भजन नहीं किया, यदि वह हरि नाम के सुमिरन से वंचित रहा, तो वह कभी भी संसार के बंधनों से मुक्त नहीं हो सकता।

jog jajny tap nem kari, bhajai nahin govind.
‘chhauna’ hari ke nam bin, chhute nahin bhav fand..

Transliteration
Jog Yagya Tap Nem Kari, Bhajai Nahin Govinda,
‘Chhona’ Hari Ke Naam Bin, Chhoote Nahin Bhav Fanda.

One may practice yoga, perform yajñas (sacrificial rituals), engage in penance, and follow strict vows, but without true devotion to Govinda (Sri Krishna) and the continuous chanting of God’s name, no one can be freed from the bondage of worldly existence.
