मथुरां मथुरा-नाथो वासुदेवो जगाम ह।
अन्तर्हिते नन्द-सुते श्रीमद्-वृन्दावने मुने॥

Hindi Meaning
भगवान शिव नारदजी से कहते हैं—हे ऋषिवर, वे भगवान, जो वासुदेव के पुत्र और मथुरा के राजा हैं, वे श्रीकृष्ण ही मथुरा में प्रस्थान करते हैं।
परंतु जो नंद लाल (श्री कृष्ण) हैं, वे वृंदावन को कभी नहीं त्यागते।
वे तो सदा वृंदावन की कुंजों में लीलामग्न होकर छिपे रहते हैं।

mathuran mathura-natho vasudevo jagam h.
antarhite nanda-sute shrimad-vrindavane mune..

Transliteration
mathurāṃ mathurā-nātho vāsudevo jagāma ha
antarhite nanda-sute śrīmad-vṛndāvane mune

Lord Shiva says to Narada - O sage, it is the Lord who is the son of Vasudeva and the king of Mathura who goes to Mathura. The son of Nanda never leaves Vrindavan. He merely hides in the sacred groves of Vrindavan.
English Translation
