रवि को भरोसो अन्ध मेटि को उदोत करै,
ससि को भरोसो सीत करत 'ताज' ख्याल को। [1]
ईस को भरोसो सब देवन को दिच्छा देत,
सुक्र को भरोसो सर्ब दैत्य प्रतिपाल को॥ [2]
सनि को भरोसो दृष्टि राखै जो कुरूर बुद्धि,
मंगल को भरोसो सुत होने भुव-पाल को। [3]
राहु को भरोसो सीस केतु को न परसे कहूँ,
मोको तो भरोसो एक प्रीतम गुपाल को॥ [4]

कोई सूर्य पर भरोसा करता है कि वह अंधकार को मिटाकर प्रकाश देगा, कोई चंद्रमा पर भरोसा करता है कि वह शीतलता प्रदान करेगा। [1]
कोई देवगुरु बृहस्पति पर विश्वास करता है जिससे देवताओं को शिक्षा प्राप्त होती है, कोई शुक्र पर भरोसा रखता है कि वह दैत्यों का पालन करता है। [2]
कोई शनिदेव पर भरोसा करता है जिनकी दृष्टि क्रूरों को दंड देती है, कोई मंगल पर भरोसा करता है कि वह पुत्र-लाभ और राज्य देगा। [3]
कोई राहु‑केतु पर विश्वास करता है, पर मुझे तो केवल एक ही पर भरोसा है — वे हैं मेरे प्रियतम श्रीगोपाल। [4]

Some believe in Saturn (Śani), who punishes the cruel‑hearted through his gaze, and some in Mars (Maṅgal), hoping to gain sons and kingdoms. [3]
Some trust Rāhu and Ketu, the shadow planets; but as for me, I place my unwavering faith in the one and only — my beloved Śrī Gopāl (Lord Kṛṣṇa). [4]
