सलोनी लागै बरसाने की भूमि - श्री सरस माधुरी

सलोनी लागै बरसाने की भूमि।
गिरि के शिखर लाड़िली राजै, लता ललित रही झूमि॥ [1]
पुर रमणीक सुभग महलायत, रसिकन की जहाँ धूम।
'सरसमाधुरी' सखी सहेली, रहीं गलिन में घूम॥ [2]

Hindi Meaning

बरसाने की यह पावन भूमि अत्यंत सलोनी (सुंदर) लगती है।
यहाँ पर्वत के शिखर पर लाड़िली जी (श्री राधा) विराजमान हैं और सुंदर लताएँ आनंद में झूम रही हैं। [1]
यह नगर अत्यंत रमणीक है और यहाँ के महल अत्यंत शोभायमान हैं, जहाँ रसिकों की मंडली भारी मात्रा में शोभायमान है।
श्री सरसमाधुरी जी कहते हैं कि सखियाँ और सहेलियाँ यहाँ की गलियों में प्रेम-मग्न होकर घूम रही हैं। [2]

saloni lagai barasane ki bhumi.
giri ke shikhar ladaili rajai, lata lalit rahi jhumi.. [1]
pur ramanik subhag mahalayat, rasikan ki jahan dhum.
'sarasamadhuri' sakhi saheli, rahin galin men ghum.. [2]

Transliteration

Saloni Lagai Barasane Ki Bhumi, Giri Ke Shikhara Ladili Rajai, Lata Lalita Rahi Jhumi. [1] Pura Ramanika Subhaga Mahalayata, Rasikana Ki Jaham Dhuma, 'Sarasamadhuri' Sakhi Saheli, Rahim Galina Mem Ghuma. [2] - Shri Saras Madhuri The land of Barsānā appears exceedingly charming and beautiful. Upon the peak of the mountain, the beloved Lāḍilī (Śrī Rādhā) reigns supreme, while the enchanting vines sway in ecstasy. [1] The town is enchanting with its splendid palaces, where there is a constant celebration of the rasikas. Sarasamādhurī says that the sakhīs and companions wander through these lanes, completely immersed in divine love. [2]
