सुनि लै मेरी बात, जुगल चरन चित लाइयै।
जौ चूक्यौ यह घात, फिरि पाछें पछिताइहै॥
- श्री ध्रुवदास, बयालीस लीला, ख्याल हुल्लास (23)
Hindi Meaning
श्री ध्रुवदास जी कहते हैं कि मैं अपने हृदय की गुह्यतम बात कहता हूँ, ध्यानपूर्वक सुनो — अपने मन को नित्य श्री श्यामा-श्याम के चरणों में ही लगाओ।
यह जो मानव-देह का स्वर्णिम अवसर मिला है, इसे व्यर्थ मत गवाओ, अन्यथा आगे चलकर अवश्य ही पछताना पड़ेगा।
