Hindi Meaning

Those who externally disguise themselves as the devotees of Shri Hari, but are engaged in the pursuit of sense gratification and stomach fulfillment by deceiving and hypocrisy are like an acrobat, who creates agony in my heart (or Shri Hari's heart). [1]
Such fraudsters pretend to be the real spiritual masters and wander from one house to another selling the name of the Lord to the rich people. They do not know the real purpose of this human life even in their dreams and are engaged only in looting the wealth. [2]
Sometimes, these fraudsters, sit very well dressed as a narrator and sing the pastimes of Shrimad Bhagwat. Even at that time, their mind does not know the meaning of the verses because their motive is to loot the money. [3]
Sometimes they reside continuously in the temple of Shri Hari (by becoming a priest), but even there (in the presence of Shri Hari), they are not touched by even the slightest devotion and they always keep the hope of money. [4]
Sometimes they deceive others by dancing, or by singing, or drawing pictures, and sometimes they try to attract others through their poetry, but Shri Hari never comes into the grip of these people, even for a moment because they are not honest with their devotion. [5]
Without wisdom, detachment, and devotion, One should never consider any of their action to be true. Shri Bhagwat Rasik says, “All these deceitful tricks, that keeps one away from the God, should only be considered hypocrisy and nothing else”. [6]
