प्रानहूँ ते प्यारी सुकुमारी जू कौं देखत,

बिहारी जू कें ‘रौंम-रौंम' लोचन ह्वै जात हैं। [1]

ज्यौं-ज्यौं रूप पान करैं निमिष न चैन धरै,

त्यौं-त्यौं प्यास बाढ़ै अति क्यौं हू न अघात हैं॥ [2]

छबि के तंरगनि में झूलत किसोर पिय,

हारत न हेरि-हेरि खरे ललचात हैं। [3]

'हित ध्रुव' आरतमै भयौ भ्रम चाहत ही,

मिलै हैं कि नाहिं मन क्यौं हू न पत्यात है॥ [4]

Hindi Meaning

अपने प्राणों से भी अधिक प्यारी सुकुमारी प्रिया के मञ्जुल रूप और लावण्य का दर्शन करके प्रियतम अपने रूप-दर्शन की पिपासा को रोकने में असमर्थ हो जाते हैं।

उनका रोम-रोम नेत्र बनकर प्रिया की रूप-सुधा का पान करने में तत्पर हो जाता है। [1]

जितना वे उनकी रूप-माधुरी का पान करते हैं, उनकी रूप-दर्शन की प्यास उतनी ही बढ़ती जाती है, और एक क्षण का भी अंतराय असह्य हो जाता है।

वे किसी प्रकार भी तृप्ति का अनुभव नहीं कर पाते। [2]

ललित किशोर प्रियतम का मन सदैव प्रिया की छवि की तरंगों में झूला करता है।

वे प्रिया के वक्षस्थल पर विराजित हारावली को देखकर लालसा युक्त होकर ललचाते रहते हैं। [3]

श्री हित ध्रुवदास जी कहते हैं कि प्रियतम का मन रूपाभिलाषा से आर्त्त हो गया है।

उन्हें विश्वास नहीं हो पाता कि वे दोनों सदा के संग हैं, और उनका चित्त इस भ्रम में पड़ जाता है कि क्या हम दोनों अभी मिले भी हैं या नहीं। [4]

jyaun-jyaun rup pan karain nimish n chain dharai, tyaun-tyaun pyas badhai ati kyaun hu n aghat hain.. [2]

chhabi ke tnragani men jhulat kisor piy, harat n heri-heri khare lalachat hain. [3]

'hit dhruv' aratamai bhayau bhram chahat hi, milai hain ki nahin man kyaun hu n patyat hai.. [4]

Transliteration

(Kavitt) Pranhu Te Pyari Sukumari Ju Ko Dekhat, Bihari Ju Ke Roma Roma Lochan Hvae Jaat Hain. [1] Jyon Jyon Roop Paan Karein, Nimish Na Chain Dharein, Tyon Tyon Pyaas Baadhe Ati Kyun Hu Na Aghat Hain. [2] Chabi Ke Tarangani Mein jhulat Kisor Piye, Harat Na Heri Heri Khare Lalchaat Hain. [3] Hit Dhruv Aarat Mein Bhayo Brahm Chahat Hi, Mile Hain Ki Nahin Mana Kyun Hu Na Patyat Hain. [4] -Shri Dhruvdas from Bayalees Leela, Shringar Shat 1 (51) Śrī Dhruvdās says that even a single glance at the beloved Śrī Rādhā, the very treasure of Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s life, turns every pore of his body into an eye, eager to behold her nectarine vision. [1] The more he sees her divine form, the more he longs for her sight, and any brief absence of her vision becomes unbearable. His restlessness increases moment by moment, leaving him unsatisfied. [2] Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the ever-youthful crest jewel of all rasiks, is absorbed in the sweet sentiments of love for the image of Śrī Priyā Jī. He becomes increasingly captivated by the garlands on the chest of his beloved Rādhā. [3] Śrī Hita Dhruvdās Jī says that Kṛṣṇa’s mind is now completely immersed in the desire to see Śrī Rādhā. Her ever-increasing beauty creates the illusion that they may never have met, despite their eternal companionship. [4]
