वृन्दावन रस भूमि यह, पेंड पेंड पर भेद।
खारौं मीठौ मरमरौ, यहै समुझि भ्रम छेद॥
- श्री बिहारिन देव जी, श्री बिहारिन देव जी की वाणी, सिद्धान्त की साखी (502)

Hindi Meaning

वृन्दावन की यह भूमि रस-सिद्ध और अत्यंत गूढ़ है, जहाँ रस-उपासना में प्रत्येक चरण पर सूक्ष्म भेद प्रकट होते हैं।
किसी को कोई रस खारा प्रतीत होता है, किसी को मीठा और किसी को मरमरा; अतः एक सच्चे रसिक को अपने भ्रमों का त्याग कर इसे ठीक से समझना चाहिए और जिस रस में उसका हृदय स्थिर और तृप्त हो, उसी को पूर्ण निष्ठा से अपनाना चाहिए।

vrindavan ras bhumi yah, pend pend par bhed.
kharaun mithau maramarau, yahai samujhi bhram chhed..
- shri biharin dev ji, shri biharin dev ji ki vani, siddhant ki sakhi (502)

Transliteration

Vrindavan Ras Bhumi Yah, Paind Paind Par Bhed. Kharaun Mithau Marmarau, Yahai Samujhi Bhram Chhed. - Shri Biharin Dev Ji, Shri Biharin Dev Ji Ki Vani, Siddhant Ki Saakhi (502) The land of Vrindavan is blessed with nectar where many kinds of distinctions (related to nectar) exists (in every step). Some people may find particular nectar saline, while others may find it sweet or Marmara. Therefore, a Rasika devotee should renounce all kinds of doubts (related to ras-upasanas) and should understand thoroughly that in whichever 'rasopasana' (worship of nectar) his mind rests, He should only accept that!
