निज सुभाय छोडत नहीं, कर देखौ हिय गौर।
अधम-उधारन नाम तुव, हौं अधमन-सिरमौर॥

कोई भी व्यक्ति अपना स्वभाव नहीं छोड़ता है।
हे श्री कृष्ण! आप इस बात को अपने हृदय में विचार कर देख लीजिए।
यदि आपका नाम अधम उधारन अर्थात् पापियों का उद्धार करने वाला है, तो मैं भी पापियों का शिरोमणि हूँ।
इसलिए मुझे पूर्ण विश्वास है कि आप अपने स्वभाववश मुझ पापी का अवश्य ही उद्धार करेंगे।

adhama-udharan nam tuv, haun adhamana-siramaur..

Nij Subhay Chhodat Nahin, Kar Dekhau Hiy Gaur.
Adham-Udhaaran Naam Tuv, Haun Adhaman-Siramaur.
- Braj Ke Dohe
No one ever abandons their true nature. O Shri Krishna, kindly ponder this truth in your heart. If you are known as the ‘Adham-Uddharan’ (savior of the fallen), then surely I am the greatest sinner. I have full faith that, staying true to your nature, you will also uplift me, the lowest of all.
